“You looked really dumb running around in circles for an hour, kid.”
CircleDumb Publishing LLC started in 2020 at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. There was no lightning bolt vision. A fever dream or divine osmosis did not inspire the birth of CircleDumb. If you ask either Mike or Larry, the answer might be different, but from everything I’ve heard, it was just something to do because they were bored. By spring of 2020, Idaho Falls, Idaho (like most cities) was under a “lockdown” to help slow the spread of the novel CoronaVirus. Sometime in March of that year, circledumb.com was formed, and for the next few years–except for owning the domain name–nothing happened.
Fast forward a few months (Give or take 3 or 4 years), and here we are.

To be successful as publishers, we understand our artists need all the support and resources available to promote their artistic vision. So, in short, it all starts with you.

CircleDumb Publishing is a news and media outlet, a community resource, a place to contribute and steal ideas, and a place to meet some people.
The name stems from a juvenile goof: The Circle Game, whereby you make a circle with your index finger and thumb, extending the remaining three fingers like an upside-down “okay” or “gotcha.” The upside-down “gotcha is held at the belt level, and if someone looks at it, you get to slug them… Technically, anywhere you would like.
